World's fastest supercomputer plots changes to pandemic travel
Fugaku, the world's fastest supercomputer, has drawn new conclusions around how we should travel during the coronavirus pandemic. Its modelling suggests that limiting passenger numbers and opening windows would greatly reduce the risk of infection on trains. The study also advised the installation of partitions in offices. More evidence is emerging for the airborne transmission of COVID-19.
