UK government backs project to build a zero-carbon emission aircraft
The Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI) has kicked off a project to develop a zero-carbon emission aircraft by 2030. "FlyZero" is backed by the UK government, which unveiled the initiative as part of a £400 million green aviation drive. ATI will bring together 100 experts from industry and academia for FlyZero. The programme will start by looking at design challenges and market opportunities.
