Nvidia works with the University of Florida on education supercomputer
Nvidia will deliver academia's fastest computer to the University of Florida. The 700-petaflop machine will be donated by the chipmaker as part of a $70 million partnership around artificial intelligence. Nvidia co-founder Chris Malachowsky is an alumnus of the university. The supercomputer will be functional by early next year, with the university wanting to make AI accessible across its campus.
