New York providers want permanent telehealth services
A collective of New York healthcare providers have said they want telehealth services to be made permanent beyond the coronavirus pandemic. The providers believe telehealth breaks down barriers to care and reduces costs. The Community Health Care Association of New York State (CHCA) and others made the assertion. 88% of New York's health centres now deliver remote care, according to the CHCA.
