Japanese startup pitches "connected" face mask
Donut Robotics, a Japanese startup, has developed a smart face mask in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. The mask connects to Bluetooth via a smartphone and can translate messages in Japanese into eight different languages. Through an app, users can also transcribe speech and make calls. 5,000 masks will be shipped to customers in Japan in the next few months.
