Google workers petition for company to end police contracts
Google is under pressure from a group of employees to end its police contracts. More than 1,600 workers are petitioning for it to stop selling services to law enforcement. The employees are "disappointed" with the company's response to the death George Floyd while in police custody last month. “We’re committed to work that makes a meaningful difference to combat systemic racism," responded Google.
