Google and Aclima map air pollution in California
For four years, Google has been working with software company Aclima in California. They have using Aclima's analytics tools to map air pollution. This week, they are opening up a trove of new data to researchers which includes more than 42 million measurements of air quality. Both companies believe the data can be useful in fighting climate change. Now they want to expand beyond California.
