Foxconn to supply 3 million electric vehicles by 2027
Apple's assembler Foxconn has announched its plans to provide components or services to 10% of the world's electric vehicles (EVs) by between 2025 and 2027, accounting to about 3 million cars. In addition, Foxconn has launched the new “MIH Open Platform,” to support EV manufacturers. William Wei, an executive at Foxconn, said the company’s aim is to become "the Android of electric vehicles".
