Density, which builds AI sensors for social distancing, raises $51 million
Sensors might be key to upholding social distancing in the future. Density, a company that builds AI-powered infrared sensors for just that purpose, has raised $51 million from investors. The firm says the money will help it meet the "unprecedented demand" since COVID-19 struck. Its technology is able to perform crowd analytics, and is already used by the likes of Pepsi, Verizon and Uber.
